3 days left. So strange. So much can happen in 3 months. So little can happen as well. I find that I'm thinking about the next three months instead of being in the NOW. I'm trying on clothes every day trying to see what fits next. It's the every day struggle I need help with still. Passing the falafel stand, not eating halloween candy or buying things that the market "for my husband" when I know damn well it's for me to eat in private.
I have a friend in the Burlesque community who lost over 40 lbs in about 6 months doing WW. I also have a few friends who have lost almost that while I've been on my journey. I may try using WW in addition to my juicing and veg intake.
How many of you have tried with success weight watchers? I'm curious..
I did weight watchers when I was just out of high school and still lived with my parents. I was about 10-15 pounds heavier than i wanted to be at the time. It taught me so much about portion control and healthy foods. i'm sure the program is very different now - back then I had to weigh and prepare all my own meals and it was unsupervised. But it taught me a lot about moderation and choosing the right foods. I cannot overstress how much easier this would be for you Shelly if you could find some type of exercise you love to do. what about kickboxing or karate? Ballroom dancing? xoxo Crystal
ReplyDeleteyou are SO right on course Crystal! You'd think I of all people would be more active! Whenever I get my heart rate up I get a panic attack. It's completely lame..lol I have to have someone with e to "talk me down" when I get anxious. I know you've always been physical and I can't remember a time in our lives that you didn't go a gym daily! Thanks for your encouragement Pistol!

Shelly, I've lost 7.2 pounds in 4 weeks on WW. I highly recommend it - you can eat anything you want with moderation. There is no feeling guilty because as long as you stay within the structure it works. I think it would be a good choice for you. :) xo LV
